COVID-19 Response

Protocol and Safety measures

 

Our spa is dedicated to providing service with the utmost attention to the latest CDC guidelines and safety protocols. All measures have been managed under the scrutiny of our medical director. At Elysium Medical Esthetics, we strive to insure you will feel safe and at ease during your visit.

  • The health and safety of our clients and employees is our priority therefore, if you are experiencing any of the symptoms below, please call to cancel your appointment. Our cancellation policy is waived in the event of illness.

Most common symptoms

  • Fever
  • Dry cough
  • Fatigue 

Less common symptoms:

  • Body aches and pains
  • Sore throat
  • Diarrhea
  • Conjunctivitis (redness of the eyes)
  • Headache
  • Loss of taste or smell

Clients are asked to arrive alone, at least 15 minutes prior to their appointment. We kindly ask that you call the clinic upon arrival and one of our staff will escort you directly to the treatment room as our waiting room is temporarily closed due to social distancing measures.

Clients are required to wear a face-mask within the facility and will be asked to remove it only during the treatment once instructed to do so by our staff as they apply their additional PPE.

Clients temperature is checked upon arrival. You will also be asked to Immediately sanitize your hands at our sanitation station.

Clients will be screened using a COVID questionnaire prior to the start of the appointment.

Clients will be checked out post treatment and will be escorted out.

Temporarily, only bottled water will be offered within the facility to abide by CDC guideline.

Facility

 

Waiting area will be temporarily closed to abide by social distancing measures.

Prior to each client visit, all frequently touched surfaces are disinfected using EPA-approved disinfectants in accordance with the CDC guidelines.

Disposable sheets will be used on treatment surfaces.

Treatment surfaces will be sanitized between appointments using EPA-approved disinfectants in accordance with CDC guidelines.

Deep cleaning of the entire facility is done on daily basis.

Staff

 

Employees with any symptoms will not be permitted in the facility until they have been check for COVID-19 infection.

Temperature checks are mandatory for all employees prior to shift.

Face masks are mandatory for all employees at all time.

Face shields, or safety glasses, will be used during all services.

Hand sanitation will be upheld prior to and post each procedure.

Our staff and clients are our family therefore, we are committed to inform all potential contacts in case of any reported COVID case that might have been in the facility. In the event this should happen, our facility will be closed until all employees have tested negative.
